Prince Uche Uche Secondus Disclaims Governorship Ambition

The National Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, has disclaimed the purported Governorship ambition as alleged by a group known as Rivers Mainstream Coalition, saying he has not contemplated embarking on such political undertaken and has not informed anybody of such planned.

Prince Secondus notes with grave disappointment and dissatisfaction the inclusion of his name among others alleged to be Governorship aspirants on the platform of the PDP and to whom invitation for a breakfast meeting organized by the group is been addressed to.

Prince Secondus therefore, dissociates himself from such arrangement and condemns in strong terms the inclusion of his name in the publication by the group in the Friday, August 15, 2014 edition of Thisday Newspaper.

He also urges all those behind such publication and the planned Interactive Breakfast Meeting not to further involve him in what he knows nothing about, as he has not nursed such political ambition, saying his only ambition now is to see how he can properly serve the party and the people in his capacity as the National Deputy Chairman of the PDP.

He therefore calls on the people of Rivers State, the general public and the PDP members to disregard the inclusion of his name by the so called Rivers Mainstream Coalition in their list of “Rivers State PDP Guber Aspirants”.

I hereby warn them to desist from maligning me. My interest therefore, as the National Deputy Chairman of the Party is to be father to all and see how the party will be more united and successful in elections.
