By Ehi Ekhator, Naija Center News

As usual, Nigerians have taken to the social media since yesterday spreading a certain rumour that the government has instructed all Nigerians to use salt-water, hot water to bath in order to prevent Ebola infection.

The rumour has spread from twitter to facebook, then to bb messenger as everyone running around to shower with salt water.

NAIJA CENTER NEWS (NCN) though has  emailed the Ministry of Health to confirm the rumour and yet to receive response, our findings revealed that the Attah of Igala gave the instruction to his people in Kogi State to use water mixed with salt to shower in order to prevent Ebola, not the government, pastor or Ministry of Health.

The news of the salt solution took a different dimension when  some people said Pastor T. B Joshua gave the declaration while some said it was the instruction from the Oba of Benin.

It could be recalled that a certain rumour that bitter kola can cure Ebola which was later cleared by the Minister of Health, was earlier spread the moment the virus was found in Nigeria.

It could also be recalled that a certain pastor, Ighodalo had said he could cure Ebola virus by laying his hands on any infected persons which later led to the government threatening to arrest religious persons who claimed to have the cure.

For the Nigerians who believe in the Salt-Water solution against Ebola virus can also try and buy Ebola polythene since that can also stop them from contracting the virus.
