Veteran Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has revealed his delight after agreeing terms on a new one-year contract.
The 37-year-old is second choice at the Britannia Stadium, with Asmir Begovic the club’s established number one.
But the Dane, who made eight appearances last season, is ready to extend his stay in the Potteries into a seventh season.
Sorensen, who joined on a free transfer from Aston Villa in July 2008, tweeted on Saturday: “Really happy to have agreed a new 1 year deal with Stoke City.
“Great club, great fans and exciting times ahead #potternation.”
