*Bomb targeted at football fans

Five days after Boko Haram killed more than 200 in a twin bomb blast in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, another bomb blast has rocked the state.
Though numbers of casualty have not been ascertained but residents confirmed two dead and three injured victims
The bomb was targeted at football fans watching the European Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
A resident who spoke with newsmen said the explosion took place along Bauchi Road near the University of Jos, Jos North Local Government Area.
The source said “There has been an explosion in Jos,” Manzo Ezekiel, spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), told AFP but said it was not clear what caused the blast nor if there were casualties.
The spokesman to Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang confirmed the bomb blast, adding that it took place at about 9:30pm.
Though no actual number of casualty has been counted, but the NEMA Zonal Information Officer in Jos, Audu Yohana said the bomb had exploded on Murtala Mohammed near the main campus of University of Jos.
He added that Emergency officers were scared to go close to the scene of the explosion for fear of another bomb attack just like the last time.
