A learner running Nigeria like a drunken driver - Nasir El-Rufai

The All Progressives Congress governorship candidate for Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has taken a sweep on President Goodluck Jonathan over the state of nation.

Speaking to a crowd today, El-rufai said Nigeria do not need a learner running Nigeria like a drunken driver, adding that Jonathan moves from church to church, town to town, preaching religious and ethnic division.

The governorship candidate said the Peoples Democratic Party lies for a living.

He said ” Any leader that says he is going to fight corruption, create jobs and make Nigeria peaceful and secure, is the one that cares about the interest of the young people, that is what the APC stands for, that is what General Buhari stands for.  This is why i am here appealing to you to pass this message about General Buhari and make it clear that his age, his age and experience, the fact that he had held every significant public offices in Nigeria, he had been governor, minister and a head of state, at least he had done it all. Do not have a learner on the job, do not have a learner that behaves like a drunken driver, we have a drunken driver running parts of this country, and it is time to move away from that.

The second issue they use to scare you is to say that General Buhari will islamise Nigeria and i always respond that oh, does that mean that pastor Osinbajo, Professor Osinbajo will Islamise Nigeria? That line is most pathetic because when you ask them  how do you Islamise Nigeria, no one can explain how.. If General Buhari has any intention to Islamise anyone, how come he has not Islamise Amaechi? a divine catholic into Muslim? How do you Islamise people and a nation, how can a responsible people speak like that? Do you know why the PDP and Jonathanaian speak like that? Because they cannot go into this election with their records because they do not have records”

“They move from church to church, preaching religious division, from town to town preaching ethnic division, They have no record, they take photographs of private estates and claim that government built the estate, they lie for a living. Do not believe anything they say even when they say good morning, check, it is probably in the evening”
