US may screen Jonathan for Ebola in Washington

The President of the United State of America, Barrack Obama has said that delegates coming from the country presently affected by Ebola Virus to attend a US-Africa conference in Washington next week would be screened.


He said “Folks who are coming from these countries that have even a marginal risk, or an infinitesimal risk of having been exposed in some fashion, we’re making sure we’re doing screening,”


Separately, two American staff who have contracted the virus in Liberia would be repatriated by a US relief agency.


A flight carrying the first infected patients of the United State, Dr. Kent Brantly arrived US Air Force base in Georgia at about 4pm on Saturday.


US had evacuated hundreds of her Peace Corps Volunteers in the West African countries over fear of Ebola
