The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Central Business Districts, Honourable Aderinola Disu has resigned from the Service of the State as a Cabinet member.
Mrs. Disu, a former Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government, made the announcement in her office this afternoon at a meeting with members of Staff, saying that she is retiring voluntarily to attend to family matters as the eldest child of the Braithwaite family.
While expressing her appreciation to all members of staff for their support and assistance towards making her tenure a success, the outgoing Special Adviser promised to always be ready to respond positively to the needs and request of the Agency whenever she is called upon.
She however appealed to the members of staff to continue to be of good conduct, disciplined and ready to give full support to anyone appointed as her replacement by Governor Fashola.
Mrs. Disu, a Lawyer by profession and Lagosian per excellence, got appointed as the Special Adviser on Central Business Districts on July 2011 and has served meritoriously by turning the fortune of the Agency, created in 2007 around for the better.
