Go out the way you came in - Enugu cleric blasts Jonathan

By Ehi Ekhator, Naija Center News

A catholic Priest, and founder of Adoration Ministries Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has urged Nigerians to vote out President good luck Jonathan in 2015 as his good luck has turned to bad luck for Nigerians.

He appealed to Jonathan to honorably resign and go out the way he came in since he could no longer render the dividend of democracy.

He urged his followers who were in thousands to support the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd) who he said fought corruption and constructed many roads when he was the military Head of State.

Mbaka who heads the popular Catholic Adoration Centre in Enugu disclosed this in  new sermon titled “From Goodluck to Bad luck”

Mbaka said Nigerians were not asking for a new road but to repair even the federal road constructed by Buhari and Babangida in the past.

Mbaka subsequently knelt down in front of the altar, cried and asked God to give Nigeria a good leader and not Jonathan. He used the opportunity to beg Nigerians to vote wisely in the forthcoming elections.

He said, “I love President Goodluck Jonathan and I used to be his ardent fan, but I want good for my people and that’s why I want Nigerians to vote out Goodluck Jonathan and vote General Muhammad Buhari. I don’t care if Buhari is a Muslim and from the North; all I care about is that Buhari can save Nigeria.”

He urged the Federal Government to account for the missing $20bn and stop insurgency in the country.

Mbaka maintained that Buhari could not Islamise Nigeria as being rumoured in some circles.

He said he had never met the APC candidate but urged Nigerians not to forget that Buhari fought corruption to a standstill during his administration between December 1983 and August 1985.

He said ” Where are we going, what’s the faith of this country? Shall we continue to experience the bad luck? We need change. As i am speaking with you, most of the civil servants did not celebrate their Christmas. The Christmas season that should be a goodluck season became a bad luck time.

He called on all men of God in the country to leave whatever they are doing and speak for the future of the children.

He said ” Tears fill my eyes watching our youngmen, our graduates hopelessly roaming along the street. What’s the meaning of kidnapping? Kidnapping is a grandson of unemployment, Boko Haram is grade grand child of the same unemployment, mass looting, and poor governance.

I don’t say that Goodluck is a bad man, he is a good man, but he cannot rule Nigeria. At this time right now, from the oracle of the holy spirit, Jonathan should quietly resign honorably and let Nigeria be. The destiny of Nigeria is greater than Goodluck Jonathan. The Goodluck in Jonathan has become a badluck to Nigerians, whatever brought him in should send him back and let Nigeria be.”

NAIJA CENTER NEWS could be recalled that the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu had taken Jonathan’s wife, Dame Patience to Mbaka where the cleric publicly endorsed the President’s re-election.

Mbaka had called on Igbo people while receiving the First Lady, Dame Patience to vote for President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 general election.

He warned those who were speaking ill of the president to desist or would meet their downfall, as greatness comes only from God.

The man of God assured the First lady not to worry about the All Progressives Congress party as it poses no threat on the relection of her husband, adding that Enugu people view the APC as Boko Haram

His words “I want to ask those saying that Jonathan must bring back the Chibok girls, is Jonathan holding the Chibok gsirls? When you, First Lady, went to Borno, you said there is God oh!

“Jonathan is not a kidnapper. We are giving you our support. You have done a lot for this country. You have done it with distractions. We wonder what you will do without distractions. We know what you will do. Adoration will support you and your husband.”

Mbaka assured Dame Patience of his support, adding that members of his congregation would vote President Jonathan in 2015.
