14 Years Old Sucide Bomber; a reflection on Chibok girls abduction

Since the episode of the suicide bomber who couldn’t detonate her bomb in the wake of seeing her associate exploding herself, i began thinking about the issue of the kidnapped Chibok girls.

More than 200 students were snatched in Chibok in April, 2014 and till now, just few alleged escape and others are still miseries.

Nigeria soldiers and government have been assaulted internationally for what they called “inadequacy” and “languid” state of mind towards recuperating the young ladies again to their guardians”

A 14-year old young lady, Zahra’u Babangida was captured in Kano on December 10 with explosives after her guardians volunteer her to the Boko Haram guerillas, a demonstration she couldn’t go through with.

Zahra’u uncovered that her guardians took her to the group as both of them are Boko Haram sympathizers, and a commander of the sect inquired as to whether she recognized what suicide bomber was.

“They said, ‘Can you do it?’ I said no.

“They said, ‘You will go to heaven if you do it.’ I said ‘No I can’t.’ They said they would shoot me or throw me into a dungeon,” Zahra’u told journalists.

She said she consented to do it knowing it was her just way out, yet was never going to execute anybody. A few days after the fact, Zahra’u said, she and three different young ladies, all wearing explosives, were brought to the Kantin Kwari market by unidentified men.

Finding the young lady’s story, its undeniable that the Chibok occurrence was a fantastic arrangement. The Principal, Asabe Kwambura, told writers and representative for Borno state government that 129 students were captured, and later, it was uncovered that the real number of kidnapped children were 279, and 14 later bafflingly gotten away.

The same Principal told journalists that she was not in the school when the occurrence happened. She unveiled this while reacting to inquiries from Punch on the 27th of April. She asserted she strove for a medical examination. Her words “When it happened, I was not in the school premises. I went to Maiduguri for a medical check up. I was called by my daughter around 11.30pm in the night. She told me that some insurgents were in the school and were trying to escape. That was how I heard. My daughter resides in my house, which is located inside the school. We were together in the house and I left her in the house before I went for the check up.”

Kwambura had overlooked that on the 17th of April, she had told AP news that the students were grabbed on account of a ghastly error. She said the sect landed after 12 am at HER (Kwambura) Government Girls’ Secondary School wearing military uniform and acting like soldiers – a typical strategy utilized by the guerillas. She said she trusted them when they let her know that they expected to move the young ladies for their own security. So she permitted the fanatics acting like troopers to load the students on a truck. It was just as the outfitted men were leaving, and began shooting, that she understood her oversight. The aggressors executed a soldier and a police guarding the school, she said

The Parents of the young ladies affirmed that they got alarm that there was an assault in the town before they even went to the school. they asserted they were informed around 4 hours to the school attack, yet didn’t make a move.

The Federal Government likewise blamed the state government for neglecting a basic direction. Government affirmed that schools were asked to close and was not mindful Chibok was opened. The WAEC officer additionally charged the state government for ignoring a prior cautioning to move the children to a more secured area; instead threatened to make the world blamed them for their actions.

Could Chibok parents knew about the kidnapping before it happened? Did they volunteer their children as the folks of the 14 years of age young lady? Why did the Principal gave a far distinctive account of the young ladies snatched knowing Christians were more among the children? Why did she give the diverse records? Who are the sabotage in the military, why hasn’t the confessed 14 years old girl’s parents in custody right now?

Yesterday, it was reported that a 10 years old girl bombed a town in Yobe, killing 19 including herself, if the age of the girl is known, then the face is likewise known, who are the parents of the girls?

Nigerians have lambasted their government that they have refused to live up to their duties. A country where people complaining are actually the perpetrators make it harder to combat.

France witness a terrorist attack few days ago, the nation were in sad moment, the President addressed the nation and called for Unity walk which they did yesterday. No french man or woman came out to insult the President, instead they came out in Unity.

The successful hunt for the attackers in France was made possible by the ordinary citizens who called the security agencies when the assailant are sighted anywhere, whereas, Many families in the North knows who is responsible and yet refused to point the soldiers to the right direction.

Nigerians are indirectly supporting Boko Haram through their daily attack on the Nigerian gallant soldiers who put their lives on the line trying to protect the ungrateful citizens. When a report is out that Soldiers kill Boko Haram, an average Nigerian will shy away from reading or even sharing, but do otherwise if it is reported that Boko Haram launch a successful attack on the Nigerian soldiers or the ordinary citizens.

Weeks back, the media credited a successful attack on the sect to Cameroon which was later debunked by the military headquarter that the attack was actually carried out by Nigerian soldiers.

During Gen. Azubike Ihejirika, the military launched operation no mercy, Nigerians took to social media insulting the soldiers of killing innocent Northerners. Many supporters of the sect including Amnesty International took to the media, accusing the government of genocide forgetting that anyone who harbour a criminal is equally a criminal, according to the law.
