Suspected fulani herdsmen decapitate three persons in Kaduna

Violent suspects believed to be herdsmen have resurfaced in the troubled southern part of Kaduna State, killing three persons and injuring another three.

The incident occurred in a village call Gimi in Sanga local government that borders Nasarawa State, and it was confirmed by a local church minister, as well as a source in Defence Headquarters.

The suspected herdsmen, the minister explained, decapitated their three victims, including a woman. They also razed down homes before they escaped.

Hundreds of people who lived in the village are now said to have escaped to neighbouring villages in Nasarawa State.

Our military source said that upon receiving signals regarding the attack, troops rushed to the village.

About 200 persons have been killed in the area within the last two months alone.
