Boko Haram attack in Gamboru Ngala town in Borno state, the border town between Nigeria and Republic of Cameroon have taken many lives
Properties worth millions of naira, vehicles were destroyed and burnt at the weekly market which usually hold on Mondays.
According to a military source, Boko Haram members also killed those they found inside their houses, shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ and other war songs as they raid everywhere.
It was gathered that apart from the killing, the insurgents also stole bags of food and escaped with them in their vehicles.
Surviving residents fled their houses to neighbouring Cameroon close to the Gamboru Ngala town, the source said.
The Defence Headquarter in charge of military operations in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states are silent over the latest attack.
