How Azibaola And Co Ruined President Goodluck

IT IS THE HOUSE RAT THAT INVITED THE BUSH RAT TO COME AND EXPLORE THE WEAKNESS IN THE HOUSE~~African proverb.

By Royal-Town Crier

The above proverb aptly captured the travails of President Goodluck Jonathan’s tenure as President and his unsuccessful re-election attempt. President Jonathan had many traducers and detractors both within and outside his party. But his real and most effective ” enemies” were his direct kinsmen from Ijaw. They were the ones who abused his magnanimous gesture and recklessly gave him the uncomplimentary robe of ” the most corrupt President” Of particular interest to The Royal-Town Crier is one Barrister Robert Azibaola( not related to the other political traitor-Hon Azibaola also from Ijaw). This man’s political and business actions will forever be mentioned as negative memories when the political life of President Goodluck is discussed.

President Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan

Several political operatives have accused The lawyer turned Engineer-Azibaola of many political and business infractions that worked seriously against President Goodluck Jonathan throughout his tenure as President. The accusations came under two sub headings briefly discussed below;

MISUSE OF PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN FUNDS:

GOODHOUSE/GOODLUCK THUMB campaign outfit with headquarters at No.3,Sakate Close,wuse11,Abuja is a Pro-Jonathan organization established and managed by Mr.Robert Azibaola.He coordinated over 100 pro Jonathan groups via one Wisdom Ikuli ( another Ijaw Kinsman) for the re-election of Mr.President. It is rumoured that he received well over N30 billion for this project. It is however sickening to point out that these funds never got to these groups. Rather,over N2.5 billion were used to import tomb and casket from abroad to bury his mother. This so infuriated the President that he had to cancel his earlier plans to attend the occasion. That he abandoned the groups he used is evident in the fact that,Mr.Wisdom Ikuli has sued him and GOODHOUSE for non-payment for political services rendered. The matter is currently assigned to Court 2 of the Abuja High court and will be heard on the 28th day of this month. Mr.Ikuli who is under serious pressure from the groups he engaged on behalf of GOODHOUSE is asking for N155m.

ABANDONMENT OF PROJECTS.

Mr.Robert who came to limelight as an environmental protection human rights activist( Founder and CEO of Niger Delta Humanitarian and Environmental Rights Organization..ND-HERO) would have been expected not to be associated with this kind of negative heading but revelations show otherwise. He established Mangrovetech Engineering Co in 2002 which company remained inactive and innocuous until Goodluck became President. No one can say for sure what happened but Mangrovetech suspiciously changed its name to KAKATAR Group. Maybe,KAKATAR has the nomenclatural magic of ” open sesame” of Ali Baba in Arabian Night tales,because before you say Azibaola,KAKATAR became a grade A indigenous construction and Engineering company in Nigeria. It is obvious that it did not attain this status through merit nor experience. This is obviated by the fact that KAKATAR abandoned numerous contracts that President Jonathan’s government had awarded to it.

” It totally abandoned some contracts without doing anything or abandoned them after doing only 35% of the projects,” one critic said. According to the accusers, the list of contracts reportedly abandoned by Mr. Robert’s firms include but not limited to;

(1) The sand-filling of the Bayelsa State Cargo Airport worth N10 billion,

(2) The Maitama extension (infrastructure) worth N150 billion,

(3) The supply of engineering materials at N67 billion;

(4) The waterfront shore protection at Otuoke and Ayakoromo at the total cost of N5 billion. This community is where Azibaola hails from and they are already sounding lawyers out to take him to court fir this.

(5) The reclamation project at Akipilai community at the cost of N5 billion;

(6) The internal road networks at Otuoke at the cost of N4 billion;

(7) The construction of 2000 hostel rooms at the Federal University, Otuoke at the cost of N4 billion and;

(8) The construction of the Opume/Okoroba seven mile road at the cost of N10 billion.

The Royal-Town Crier has been reliably informed that some concerned citizens are gathering damning info and documents to prepare a serious petition to ICPC and EFCC to look into all these allegations. This will be a welcome development and also serve as deterrent to those who do things without considering tomorrow.

The worst crime of Mr. Azibaola and his ilk is turning a Genuine Goodluck to an artificial Badluck.
