Damaturu – Dreaded Boko Haram sect in a convoy of three Hilux vehicles and several motorcycles invaded the town of Ngalda in Fika Local Government Area of Yobe state, where they wreak havoc on mostly public buildings, after looting food items and shops.
This is coming barely four hours after a suicide bomber sneaked into a mosque in Maiduguri metropolis killing 26 worshippers.
The incident which took place at about 7pm on Saturday did not claim any life, as the insurgents were out for destruction of government facilities and as well to loot and add to their stocks in the Sambisa Forest.
The insurgents according to sources invaded the town chanting “Allahu Akbar (God is Great), we are here to destroy all public buildings, houses and shops of those who believes in democracy, we will continue to fight whosoever identified himself/herself with Nigerian Government which we consider as anti-Islam, we will not relent or surrender, until we impose strict Sharia Law for people to adhere to”.
