Nwibubasa an imposter, not our candidate for Khana/Gokana Fed constituency - PDP

The Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described as false, a claim made by one Mr. Leloonu Nwibubasa, on AIT news.

Nwibubasa while responding to questions on AID had alleged that he won the Khana/Gokana Federal Constituency primary election as candidate of the party.

In a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media to the State PDP Chairman, Jerry Needam, said that such claim was ill-conceived, fraudulent and misleading.

He noted that Nwibubasa is an impersonator who did not even present himself in the contest on the said date for the primary election for the seat he claimed to win.

PDP warned Nwibubaba to stop deceiving the general public with his unfounded and flase claim, adding that there is danger and legal implications in making such publications.

It said “To set the records straight, the PDP hereby reaffirms that the rightful winner of the Khana/Gokana Federal Constituency in the Party Primary Election conducted on Saturday, December, 6, 2014, in Bori, Khana LGA, is Rt. Hon Dumnamene Dekor, who scored 120 votes, while Charles Wiwa, who contested with him, got only one vote.”

The party advised the general public to consider anyone, including Mr. Nwibubasa who parades himself in such capacity as an imposter and fraudster.

PDP appealed to all arms of media (including NAIJA CENTER NEWS) to disregard the claim, noting that the State PDP Chairman, Chief Felix Obuah will present the right candidate at the appropriate time.
