The youths in Benin, Edo State have resorted to killing themselves while many others are celebrating the year end.
The fight between two rival groups, AXE and EIYE escalated last week when two persons were shot at broad day light at a popular market, New Benin.
According to the information gathered, members of the Black Axe shot two members of the EIYE group, one died on the spot while the other is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital in Benin.
Information gathered by NAIJA CENTER NEWS revealed that more than 20 boys have been killed since last week while those alive are in hiding.
Our correspondent could not speak with the survivor as our source said he would not like to talk on the issue.
Total number of boys shot around New Benin were said to be three. including the one in the hospital, a barber and a bus revenue collector.
What NAIJA CENTER NEWS could not find out was the actual cause of the fight.
A call put to the Edo State Commissioner of Police, Folunso Adebanjo and DSP, Friday Uwor yielded no result as both seem to be oblivious of the incident.
