Boko Haram: N-Delta Group Gives Jonathan 21 Days To Revoke Northerners’ Oil Blocs

President Goodluck Jonathan has been given a 21-day ultimatum to revoke all oil bloc licences held by Northerners suspected to be funneling funds to Boko Haram insurgents in the country.

The Niger Delta People Solidarity Movement, NDPSM, which gave the ultimatum, noted that 95 per cent of the country’s wealth was generated from the Niger Delta region, adding that it was wrong for those making their wealth from the area to use the proceeds to fight people from the region.

The group in a statement, said: “This is the first time the region is producing a president. Enough is enough of this insurgency against the people of the Niger Delta. We have been studying the situation and we call on Mr. President to call a spade a spade or we will decide the next line of action”.
