The outgoing President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari on Friday met behind close doors, inside Aso Rock.
The meeting may be unconnected to the phone call by President Jonathan to Buhari on how to commence the transitional process ahead of the May 29 date for the transfer.
President Jonathan on Saturday lost the general election to Gen. Buhari and also conceded defeat, making history as the first President to concede defeat without tribunal and other post election violence associated with many past leaders.
The details of the meeting were not made public, but the meeting, which was described as private took place at the new Banquet Hall inside the villa.
