Sahara Reporters had published an audio recording indicting  a former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, the governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, a former deputy governor of Osun State, Iyiola Omisore who recently contested with the current governor, Rauf Aregbesola under the platform of The Peoples Democratic Party, and some military men of rigging Ekiti election.

Governor Fayose said in his response to NAIJA CENTER NEWS questions that the audio was fake, adding that APC used a technology called speech software, which according to the governor, is good at reproducing the sounds, inflections and intonations of a human voice.

The Governor added  “Nigerians should be reminded of how the APC people lied in 2007 that they recorded how the governorship election was rigged even in the palace of the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe, but the party could not produce a single photo evidence at the tribunal because their plans to do what is know as Morphing and Syncing was exposed.”

Fayose also said the APC is a well known party for crooks who are capable of doing anything  no matter how criminal to achieve their aim.

The governor said they have tried all tricks to manipulate the election result but couldn’t succeed, then tried to prevent him from assuming his office then failed again, and now went through its media organ, SaharaReporters as its last step to bring him down.
