He said he only attack him based on his activities against the party, adding that his assertions are meant to save the Peoples Demcratic Party.

He disclosed this while answering questions on a monthly Radio and Television Program, Meet Your Governor in Ado-Ekiti

He said referred as wrong, if anyone thinks that his continuous outburst on the former President is misinterpreted as disrespect and to score a personal point.

He advised members of the Peoples Democratic Party, to condemn the attack of Obasanjo on the PDP and President Goodluck Jonathan.

His words “This is not a question of whether somebody is elderly or young, but when you see somebody continuously attacking the vehicle conveying members of the PDP, then that person must be checked or else the vehicle could sink. The PDP is like a moving train and when you see somebody shooting sporadically at it, those inside must talk or raise alarm if they must survive the onslaught.”

Fayose added that Obasanjo is more of a sit at home politician who has enough time discussing with the opposition, most especially, the All Progressives Congress (APC), adding that, his action resulted to his anger.

He advised the PDP members to defend the party from internal (probably Obasanjo) and external enemies.

Responding to questions on 2015 general election, Fayose said it’s still in favour of the incumbent President.

He said that Nigerians would not vote APC into power as they have bad records in the various states they have governed.
