The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State chapter has carpeted Mr. Lolo Ibienenye for the announcement of his purported defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC from the PDP, stressing that he was never a member of the party.
A statement from the office of the State PDP chairman, Felix Obuah and signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Jerry Needam said Mr. Ibienenye, who was a member of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN is not a politician but a self-seeking businessman who is available for anybody in need of his service.
His purported defection, the PDP chairman insists, makes no meaning to the party because he has never been a member of the party but a well known mole on a mission for his paymaster, Rotimi Amaechi to cause confusion in the PDP but failed.
His strategy has been the cry of wolf whenever and wherever he fails while his mission is grabbing and self-aggrandizement, the statement further pointed out.
The PDP chairman therefore enjoined the Rivers people and Ibienenye’s kinsmen not to be distracted by the false alarm raised by him, recalling that he had similarly raised such falsehood against his new found love, Amaechi in the past which portrays him as someone you can never trust, a political rolling stones that gathers no moss.
