Oshiomhole fires Chairman Petroleum Monitoring Committee, Soni Idahagbon

An unconfirmed report reaching NAIJA CENTER NEWS says that the Edo State governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has sacked the Chairman of the state Petroleum Monitoring Committee, Mr. Soni Idahagbon.


The governor took the decision due to what he termed as “negligence and dereliction of duty”.


Mr. Idahagbon is requested to return all government properties in his possession to the Permanent Secretary, (Administration) Government House within 24 hours.


Meanwhile, the governor has also warned petroleum dealers in the state that they stand the chance of having their lands being revoked if they do not return to the official price of petroleum products.
