#whileyouwereaway : More Nigerians over the absence of Jonathan, lash Buhari

By Ehi Ekhator, Naija Center News

As the economy continues to suffer setbacks, Nigerians express sadness and regret over the defeat suffered by the former President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

NAIJA CENTER NEWS had reported on Sunday that Nigerians took to Jonathan’s fanpage to beg for forgiveness for their betrayal during the last presidential election, wishing they could take back the hands of time.

Others claimed they were hypnotized and fell for the greatest scam in the history of Nigeria as the All Progressives Congress that promised haven has disappointed them.

On Wednesday morning, Nigerians also took swipe on the Media aide of the President over the statement he made while answering questions from Vanguard correspondent.

More Nigerians have cried out, but this time on twitter with the hashtag #whileyouwereaway.

Since Buhari took over the mantle of leadership, Boko Haram members have step up their attacks in the Northern part of Nigeria killing hundreds of innocent people.

Meanwhile, angry Nigerians attack Buhari over some of his campagin promises including tackling Boko Haram in two months, paying N5000 each to Nigerians who are unemployed, feeding primary school children and many more.

Jonathan was voted out due to the impatient exercised by Nigerians who believed six years was enough to turn things around therefore expected Buhari to change them as soon as possible.

Members of the APC had stressed that two months is too small to compare Buhari with Jonathan who spent six years.

Below are some of the tweets
