Recruitment Scam: Army parades cyber fraudsters

he Nigerian Army has advised unsuspecting members of the public to be wary of persons soliciting for funds in order to enlist them into the Army, Nigeria Customs Service or any of the nation’s security agencies.


Speaking in Abuja while parading a suspected cyber fraudster who established two websites on behalf of the Army and the Customs, the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman, said that the Nigerian Armed Forces and other security agencies do not ask for money from prospective applicants to facilitate their enlistment into any of the services.


He added that the suspect, Samuel Omoh Eromosele, who also bears the name, Balogun Precious Ehi, opened multiple accounts with two banks with which he defrauded some applicants.
