PDP cancels, Postpones Kogi Adhock Delegate Ward Congress to July

*Rescheduled congresses to commence July 14

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), after a careful review of the reports of the Congress Committee and Appeal Committee in respect of the three-man Ad hoc Delegates Ward Congresses in Kogi State on June 27, 2015, has cancelled the exercise.

A statement by the National Publicity of the party, Olisa Metuh, said: “The participation of a ‘local organising committee’ which is unknown to the constitution of the party and the guidelines marred the congresses.

Consequently, new thee-man ad hoc delegates ward congresses would commence on the 14th of July 2015.”
