Call For Cancellation Of Polls: Rivers PDP Blasts Chibudom Nwuche

The chairman of Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bro Felix Obuah has dismissed the call for the cancellation of April 11 Governorship and State House of Assembly elections in the State by the former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Chibudom Nwuche as the ranting of a man who has no political future.

Mr Chibudom, the State party chairman said through a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Jerry Needam is a bad loser who lacks the spirit of sportsmanship and other attributes of a politician.

Blaming the Ekpeye Prince for his lack of political vision that made him jump over to the All Progressives Congress, APC immediately he learnt of President Jonathan’s defeat, Prince Obuah noted that by this singular action Mr Chibudom Nwuche has killed himself politically.

This has also confirmed Gov Amaechi’s earlier allegation that Chibudom Nwuche failed out with him because he (Amaechi) refused to grant his frequent requests for money, the PDP boss recalled.

No politician with character according to Prince Obuah can do what Chibudom Nwuche did.

“Perhaps, he had reasoned that the APC having won at the national level will also win in the State. But that was an error of judgement and political miscalculation of a mole planted in the PDP. Now that he has proven to all that he has no character and cannot be trusted, he has lost both the PDP and the APC and should rather shut up his mouth than resorting to baseless call for the cancellation of elections adjudged as the freest and most credible so far in the State”, The PDP State chairman declared.

Bro Obuah therefore enjoins all Rivers people, the INEC and Nigerians in general to see Mr Nwuche’s call as an emotional outburst of an uncheerful loser wishing to be suited and discountenance same as nonsensical.
