Police arrest doctor, nurses, alfa over ritual killing in Lagos

THE police in Lagos State have arrested a  trado-medical doctor, two nurses, an alfa and three others for allegedly trying to use a day old baby for ritual in Alagbado area of the state.

The suspects include Bola Fagbemi, Yinka  Lasisi,  Rilwan  Saula,   Farounbi  Sirajudeen, Taofeek Abidakum  and Akindele Majiyagbe, who were all said to be involved in human parts business.

Nigerian Tribune  gathered that policemen from the Special Anti Robbery Squad of the state police command, while acting on a tip-off, arrested Saula with a day old baby, while trying to use the baby for ritual.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the baby died at a medical centre, where she was given birth to and the doctor and the two nurses at the home handed her over to Saula, who had reportedly been dealing with them.

Saula led police detectives to the trado-medical home where the doctor and the nurses were arrested and their confession led to the arrest of other members of the human parts syndicate.
