Nigeria military helicopter crashes in Bama, Borno

Helicopter belonging to Nigerian Airforce Mi-32 has crashed due to what the officials said was ”technical fault” at Bama in Borno State.


According to a statement by the Director, Defence Information, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade, said the Mi-32 was on a training mission and added that investigation into what led to the crash has started.

He also stated that the crash was not caused by enemy action and didn’t confirm if there were casualties or survivors.


He said “Further details on the crash will be made known as soon as the investigation progresses,”
