Le Havre midfielder Distel Zola is a target for a number of Championship clubs, Sky Sports understands.
Zola impressed for Le Havre last season, making 32 appearances, and his performances have not gone unnoticed among clubs across Europe.
The 25-year-old former Monaco man is thought to be keen on a move to England and several Championship sides are believed to be ready to make a move for his signature.
Menzo Messaoudi, Zola’s UK representative, confirmed he was in talks with a number of Championship clubs about a deal and he feels the Congo international would be perfectly suited to English football
“Distel is a dynamic and combative midfielder with excellent technical and physical capacities,” Messaoudi told Sky Sports.
“He is well suited to English football and along with their French representative Doug Pingisi, we are currently in talks with a few Championship clubs with the idea of introducing him to the English league.”
