The multiple award winning U.N Ambassador , Hajia Habiba Abubakar has been presented with the Award for her humanitarian service via her NGO organization.
She received the award in Nigeria Goodwill Ambassador, 2014,held at Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Abuja, on November 1, 2014. The award is given out every year in recognition of an “individual in the motion picture industry whose humanitarian efforts have brought credit to the society .”
The founder of Elderly and the Poor, a non profitable organization that builds affordable home for low income people and less privilege people has won several other awards including a United Nations recognition award for her good works..
The Abuja-based socialite woman got the gold honour award for best NGO 2014 for her contributions to the elderly, the poor and struggling families.
Habiba Abubakar is passionate about helping the less privileged and she does so all by herself without begging for funds from anyone
