A member of the House of Assembly, Hon. Philip Shaibu who was accused of leading the thugs that brutalized another Honorable, Rasak Momouh has been arrested by Edo State Police command.
Shaibu was on Tuesday night fingered in the attack that led to near death of Hon. Rasak who was said to be stabbed multiple times at his residence.
A source who spoke to Naija Center News presently at the station said the speaker, Hon. Uyi Igbe and some Honorables under the All Progressives Congress are presently at the station trying to secure the release of the arrested honorable.
He also disclosed that the suspect may be transfered to the force headquarters in Abuja.
A call to Hon. Festus Ebean by Naija Center News yielded negative result as he insulted our correspondent on phone, asking them to save their money and find a better job.
He also inquired from this network how it found out that Hon. Shaibu was arrested since it’s not Nigeria based network, and every effort to make him talk to us proved abortive as he sounded like someone under the influence of alcohol, screaming in a different language.
