Like father like son as two sons belonging to the Commissioner of Police of the Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Joseph Mbu have been rusticated from Ukraine University, NAIJA CENTER NEWS has learnt.

The two boys got admission into National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsia 9 years ago to study medicine, a six years programme, and had continuously collected money from their father without graduation.

A source who spoke with NAIJA CENTER NEWS disclosed that Patrick is known for his stubbornness and regular assault on people, while his brother popularly known as DJ goes from club to club without attending classes.

Their problem started last year when the Dean invited the duo to his office for questioning, they both lied that they were planning to change their school and requested for documents for the transfer

The source said ‘’ The Dean fixed two days after for them to come back for their documents, unknown to them that he called the school they said they were transferring to and the alleged new school denied having any communication with the duo.

‘’When they came back on the agreed date, the Dean of their school requested them to sit and wait. After few minutes of waiting, sensing trouble, Patrick jack up the dean and almost beat him up’’

NAIJA CENTER NEWS gathered that the embarrassed police commissioner who claimed to represent discipline but could not inculcate same into his two sons, did everything every fathers could do to put them back to the university by promising to pay for things destroyed in the Dean’s office. He also realized that the money he had been spending had been in vain and decided to send one of them to a school in China while the other one still claim DJ from one club to another.

Joseph Mbu who was the former commissioner of police in Rivers State was transferred to Abuja based on similar issue, regular fallout between him and the Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi.

The Rivers State government complained of his nuisance and wrote a petition requesting the Inspector General of Police to transfer him to the hot zone in the North East where the dreaded Boko Haram is claiming lives and properties.

Missile fired from rebel-held Ukraine area – Obama

WASHINGTON – US President Barack Obama said Friday that a missile fired from rebel-held territory in Ukraine downed a Malaysian passenger jet and confirmed that one American was among the dead.

“Their deaths are an outrage of unspeakable proportions,” Obama told reporters.

“Evidence indicates that the plane was shot down by a surface-to-air missile that was launched from an area that is controlled by Russian-backed separatists inside of Ukraine,” Obama said

Obama, while saying he was waiting for the full picture, highlighted that the pro-Russian rebels have in the past downed Ukrainian aircraft.

Obama, who earlier this week ramped up sanctions on Russia over the conflict, called on President Vladimir Putin to “take the path that would result in peace in Ukraine.”

“I think it’s important for us to recognize that this outrageous event underscored that it is time for peace and security to be restored in Ukraine,” Obama said.

“Now is, I think, a somber, appropriate time for all of us to step back and take a hard look at what has happened. Violence and conflict inevitably lead to unforeseen consequences,” he said.

Pundit Revealed: Same mafia sponsors Boko Haram, Ukraine crisis

The Boko Haram terrorist group that has abducted nearly 300 Nigerian girls is reportedly sponsored by the same international political mafia that orchestrates the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and the Arab world, a political analyst says.

The photo shows a frame grab of a video purportedly released by the Boko Haram Takfiri group showing abducted Nigerian school girls.

In an article posted on Press TV’s website, Gordon Duff referred to recent revelations, including a secret FBI memo, about the 2012 killing of the US ambassador in the Libyan city of Benghazi and the kidnapping of the Nigerian girls.

“Investigations of both attacks, including a recent secret FBI memo from last week, indicate that the ‘terrorists’ were, in actuality, working in direct coordination, not just with domestic political enemies but, on a broader scale, the same powerful international political organization, one involved in these attacks and others, Libya, Egypt, Syria and the Ukraine,” Duff wrote.

It is learned that the two operations in Nigeria and Libya as well as the takeover of the Ukrainian government by right wing extremists and gas attacks inside Syria are funded by billions of dollars, Euros and pounds, gold and diamonds stolen from former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi’s fortune, the analyst pointed out.

Based on the intelligence reports, the Gaddafi fortune has been funneled to Paris and kept in three warehouses under the supervision of French and Israeli intelligence services to finance terrorists, assassins and members of the mainstream media, he noted.

The article also cited a Persian Gulf state intelligence service as saying that billions of dollars of Ghaddafi’s wealth as well as his stockpile of chemical and advanced weapons have been gradually transferred from France to Poland, Ukraine, Africa, Turkey and the US.

On April 14, the Boko Haram abducted 276 students from their secondary school in the northeastern town of Chibok, later threatening to “sell” the girls.

Boko Haram – whose name means “Western education is forbidden” – says its goal is to overthrow the Nigerian government.

The Takfiri group has been responsible for a number of deadly gun and bomb attacks in various parts of Nigeria since 2009.

EU to sanction Russia over Ukraine

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius yesterday in Paris warned Russia of rapid European sanctions if attempts to reach a diplomatic solution to end Ukraine’s crisis failed.

EU leaders EU leaders

He said that EU leaders could impose sanctions on Moscow today during a crisis meeting on Ukraine.

Fabius said the sanctions might  include restrictions on visas and the assets of individuals and existing discussions on economic ties with Russia.

“Let’s start to initiate the path of dialogue, but at the same time tomorrow there is an EU summit and sanctions could be voted tomorrow if there is no de-escalation,” he said.

“I expect and hope that Russia will tell us that there is a prospect for dialogue with a contact group,” he added. (0)
