A chieftain of the All Progresives Congress, APC, and a former governor of Lagos State, Bola Asiwaju Tinubu has wished the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, who has dumped the APC for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to contest the upcoming Adamawa by election.
This happen to be the first time in a very long time that a politician in Nigeria defect from one party to another without controversy.
Earlier misunderstanding was cleared now by the former EFCC chairman, appealing to what he referred to as his friends not to misunderstand his decision.
Tinubu, wished Ribadu through his twitter handle, an usual style of one of the founder of the APC.
It is obvious that there are many twitter handle clones, the particular Tinubu handle that wished Ribadu has no VERIFIED as in many others.
