By Ehi Ekhator

The embattled suspended Senatorial Leader Gentleman Amegor has narrated his ordeal in the hands of some alleged paid hoodlums who invaded his home during a meeting yesterday in Benin.

The suspended leader accused the governor, Adams Oshiomhole of masterminding the attack because of his refusal to support his preferred Candidate.

According to the Barrister, he is traumatized by the incident as some of his attendees were rough handled and their belongings stolen by the thugs.

Amegor has been in the  light since he showed interest in the deputy governor of Edo State, Pius Odubu as his preferred candidate in the coming governorship election contrary to APC and Oshiomhole’s choice.

The incident led to the leader’s suspension by a five-man committee who accused him of anti-party activities.

Narrating his ordeal to NAIJA CENTER NEWS, Amegor said “It is true. they came to my house at about 2pm. Over 500 hoodlums were in my house for 3hr 30mins. They took charge of my house and they said i must support Godwin Obaseki and i should go and settle the scuffle otherwise they will deal with me. But i don’t know the scuffle they want me to settle.

“I was really traumatized and i am feeling so bad even till this morning. This happened to me because the governor said everybody should support Obaseki, i have not been holding Godwin Obaseki meeting with them and that is the problem.

“A minister called me this morning, i don’t even know the minister and he asked if it actually happened and i said it happened. The governor sent them, i sent him a text message regarding the incident.

“Some people coming for the meeting were rough handled, and they took the money in some of their pockets.”
