A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and one of the aspirants in the coming governorship election in Edo State, Don Pedro Obaseki has said he cannot be pushed out of the race.
“I Won’t be pushed out by any means, dubious or otherwise. I’m not a career politician,” he said.
The Playwright, Poet, Screenwriter, Film Director, and international Television content provider who is also a major force in Nollywood said as long as the primary is fair, he would go back to his business if he failed to secure the ticket.
Speaking with NAIJA CENTER NEWS, Don Obaseki assured that his party won’t impose any candidate as widely speculated. He said “APC won’t. There will be Primaries. For sure. If I lose fairly, I will count my losses and go back to my business. A people get the leadership they deserve.
When asked of his next line of action should his party impose a candidate against all odd, The Playwright said:
“These are heady days yet. I’m resolved to see this to the end. The joke’s on anyone who chooses to under rate me.”
