#Fullnessoftime: Nigerians mock Buhari"s Media Aide, Femi Adesina

By Ehi Ekhator, Naija Center News

Nigerians have taken to twitter to mock President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special ADviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina over his statement.

The harshtag #fullnessoftime is currently trending like a hotcake after Adesina said the President will appoint ministers at the “fullness of time” while answering questions from vanguard correspondent.

The aide said “The appointment of Ministers is constitutional because the constitution prescribes that there must be a Minister from at least one state of the federation and President Mohammdu Buhari will do what is constitutional. So, he will constitute a cabinet.

“But then when he does it is his prerogative. He is the one who will determine when he needs that cabinet. But for now, he has said that he wants to lay a proper foundation for the administration and that’s why he has been working with bureaucrats; the various Permanent Secretaries.

“For the past two week and still going forward, the Permanent Secretaries have been briefing him on the state of their ministries and then, I am sure at the fullness of time, the Ministers will be appointed.”

NAIJA CENTER NEWS had reported days ago on how Nigerians took a swipe on President Buhari while praising the former President Goodluck Jonathan, saying they have regretted their choice and pleaded for him (Jonathan) to come back.

The problem of appointment of Ministers by Buhari’s administration has been on for awhile as Nigerians believe President is completely confused while others believe Buhari is taking his time to select the best among the best.

In an Interview with NAIJA CENTER NEWS, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh had said Buhari is in a delicate state, adding that the people he surrounded himself with are all corrupt, therefore needed more time to make his decision on minister’s list.

Metuh urged Nigerians to pray for the President, saying that the party is patiently waiting for those Buhari is going to bring out as ministers which will determine their position of opposition, and also indicate a clear position whether the President is ready to fight corruption as he alleged or not.

Lately impatient Nigerians have taken on Buhari and his administration, tagging the president with different disgraceful nickname like Baba go slow or the snail man.
