A former Governor of Rivers State who have been swimming in different controversies since he left office has been confirmed as a minister.
Amaechi was one of the 36 ministers submitted by the President Muhammadu Buhari.
The senators on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, had attempted to stop Amaechi from being screened by the senate but hit rock.
Amaechi who was the Director of Campaign to Gen. Buhari during the Presidential election had made many enemies duping the then ruling parties and working against his kinsman, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
