Gangster commissioner destroys market women goods at Oba market

It was like a colonial invasion in Edo State on Saturday as a gangster Commissioner for Environment Clement Agba took his boys to destroy goods belonging to traders along the road.

The incident which took place at Oba Market road,  supervised by the Commissioner led to the destruction of goods, tables and chairs worth thousands of naira.

The destruction of goods continued at Agbado market where the action was resisted by some traders who couldn’t handle their livelihood put to dust.

Not only were good destroyed, some traders and boys were seen manhandled on a video stumbled upon by NAIJA CENTER NEWS.

Some Edo youths who showed anger over the incidents accused the government officials for collecting tax from the people along the road and then turn around to destroy their goods.

Though the incident could have been handled in a more amicable way without destroying goods, but the commando and the drunk agberos turned the scene to violent-like protest.
